National Strategy for PE, School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL)
Malaika Youth Project activities support the government’s strategy to increase sporting activity amongst 5-16 year olds.
The Youth Sport Trust, in cooperation with the Department for Education and Skills and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, is responsible for delivery of the National Strategy for PE, School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL).
The Prime Minister has announced a new ambition to offer all children at least four hours of sport every week – at least two hours curriculum PE and an additional two to three hours beyond the school day. Find out more
